Suvak
Suvak is a region found in Murkys. Suvak is a grotesque and unsettling region where the land itself pulses with unnatural life. Known as the Meat of the Fields, the horizon is a surreal landscape of stitched flesh, writhing tendrils, and bone-like outcroppings that emerge from the ground like twisted sculptures. This once-thriving region of marshlands and fertile plains has been consumed by a macabre transformation, and its two great cities, Ithrydal and Virik, now stand as testaments to Suvak’s descent into undeath.
Suvak was a land defined by duality: its fertile marshlands, nurtured by Ithrydal’s alchemical advancements, and its blood-soaked battlefields, where Virik’s warriors trained and died to defend the region. The curse of Undeath warped both aspects of Suvak into horrific parodies of their former selves. The curse took root in the marshlands first, corrupting the alchemical experiments of Ithrydal and infusing the very land with unnatural growth. The once-fertile soil was replaced by layers of pulsating flesh and bone. Meanwhile, the ancient battlefield of Virik, long considered sacred ground by Suvak’s warriors, became the epicenter of necromantic energy, resurrecting its fallen soldiers and reforging the city into a grim fortress of death.
