Nith

Nith is a city found in the Sixis region of Murkys. Nith was the intellectual center of Murkys, home to scholars, philosophers, and mages. The city was a beacon of knowledge, with sprawling libraries and magical academies. Its people prided themselves on logic and reason, often dismissing the spiritual and emotional as weaknesses.
The people of Nith were cursed with eternal silence, their flesh stripped away, leaving only animated Skeletons. They can no longer speak or communicate as they once did. Their intellect remains intact, but they are trapped in a voiceless existence, their thoughts swirling endlessly without release. Despite their silence, the skeletons of Nith continue their pursuit of knowledge. They have transformed their libraries into cryptic archives, such as The Hushed Archive filling the city with runes, symbols, and diagrams etched into the walls and floors. Adventurers speak of a strange unity among the skeletons, as though they share a collective consciousness, seemingly fuelled by the mysterious tower known as The Runic Tor.
