Unification Fair
An annual event in celebration of the union of the entire Archan Heartland
Introduction

The Unification Fair is one of the largest and most famous events in the Kingdom of Archana. Set in the turning of each year in Moyen, the Fair is a celebration of the unity and strength of the Archani, a festival cherished by many. With its streets filled with stands, people, foods, and music, Moyen encompasses the lively spirit of the people of the Kingdom during the Fair, a warm and joyful event indeed.
History
Once King Charles Maine was able to close the treaty with the ruler of the Hawkcliff Citadel, the Archan Heartland was finally united under a single flag. To celebrate this, the Cliffers offered to hold a great festival as a display of good faith, but the Hawk Cliff was such a hard climb that it was unviable for any common folk to reach the Citadel. For this reason, the Unification Fair was set by the mountain's base.
Observance
As it was organized so close to the end of the year in its first run, the Fair has since worked as a new year event too. Taking place from December 29th to January 4th, the Unification Fair is also dedicated to the hope of a coming year of unity, peace, and prosperity to all of Archana.
Attractions
One of the main attractions of this event is the reunion of many typical foods and beverages of Archana. From lunch food to snacks and sweets, there are all kinds of recipes from the diverse cultures in the Kingdom, some of which were brought in by immigrants. The Fair also offers many activities such as traditional games, contests, and, of course, music shows performed by some of the most famous bards in Archana.That said, the main event is surely the ignition of Moyen's Light. With the approach of the turning of the year, all lights in the event are put off and the beacon is lit, illumination the entire town. Even though Moyen's Light is part of the system of beacons used for emergencies, it is lit during the Fair as a special exception, celebrating the unity of the kingdom.
