Special thanks to Rosana Dos Santos Pinto for helping with the brainstorm for this article

Introduction

"I told you... It's beautiful, isn't it? "
— Aria Dabalan, the Bard

The last light added to the Beacons of Unity with the closing of the The Hawkcliff Treaty, Moyen's Light represents the hope in the future through the unity of the Kingdom of Archana, specially with the Mountain Dwarves of the Hawkcliff Citadel. Despite being located onto the mountain, closer to the Citadel than the village, the beacon was named after Moyen because of the significance to the place.

Details

Purpose / Function

Much like the other beacons, Moyen's light server the main purpose of alerting the entire kingdom of invading armies as fast as possible. But also exclusive to this beacon, it is also lit during the Unification Fair to illuminate the event and represent the unity of the Archani and the Cliffers.

History

When the Hawkcliff Treaty was signed and the Cliffers joined the Kingdom of Archana, the Unification Fair was conceived to celebrate the event. Moyen's light was built for the beacon system but was inaugurated during the fair. The view of the fire was so inspiring that it became a custom lighting the beacon every year during the event.
