to be honest, dating isn't much of a thing back home. at least, not for me.
i enjoy spending time with people, and getting to know them, in whatever way. but the romantic thread that seems to be required? doesn't particularly interest me. it seems to put tension into what should be fun activities. i know it's apparently a required step in the courtship process, but i'm not interested in that either right now. i've yet to meet someone who sparks that interest in possibly spending our futures together. the rest of my life is hopefully a long time.
the parents all insist i will grow out of it, and find the right person or people for me, but sometimes i wonder how much of that is their own blissfully long mated-ness.
that is wildly off topic.
regardless, for all my lack of interest in dating or courtship, i am *very* interested in the physical aspect of relationships.... hard not to be when your biology dictates you start looking for a sexually compatible mate or mates with your first cycle. gods i miss knots.
