ya know, i don't think i've ever considered using the dead as a protection force before ralph, i mean necrome. no, i mean ralph, necrome is kinda a dumb as fuck nickname. and also very much a give away that he was aiming for necromancy.
i can see that he just wanted to protect his home, and i get that, like really i get that. but you can't just steal bodies?? and when that doesn't work out you can't try to make NEW bodies that's literally murder, ralph, the fuck. there's a big difference between defending yourself or protecting, say a village, than trying to get fresh bodies to attempt to reanimate.
everyone else in this group seems pretty focused on trying to save as many lives as they can, and resorting to killing as a last result (like with the goblins.) and i can see the good in that. but it feels kinda idealistic. sometimes you just can't reason with the enemy, and i fear how that lesson will come to be taught if they always go in with a diplomatic view.
anyway, the case was pretty simple i guess? i dunno, ralph seems like a pretty gross dude- gaslighting kater when he hid us was shitty even if we didn't wanna be found. his goals were good, his methods bad. and i really doubt he's just gonna leave town and not keep trying this bull. we may have just delayed a bigger altercation until he's stronger. i guess time will tell.
