i've always thought that vaylan and mines relationship was special. littermates and twins, best friends, children with high expectations placed on them. every struggle that we've had, we've seen mirrored in the other, shared it, and i think come out stronger.
which is why him leaving like he did has hurt so much. i never saw it coming, and i don't know why he did it.
he's always seemed to understand me, sometimes when i don't even understand myself. i dunno if that's just a twin thing or just a vaylan thing. i haven't seen it quite the same way in any of our siblings so i suspect that it's just him. but no matter how much i feel like i understand him, he'll do things i never anticipate. this, being the biggest example. usually it's been small- an unexpected haircut, starting the garden, insisting on courting cal even though it was arranged.
when cal told me that he left likely to get elluin to come home to them, i was surprised because i had no idea elluin existed. but it also isn't that surprising, i guess. vaylan is a lover, and him doing something rash for love... really isn't all that surprising the more i think on it. but elluin's refusal should have sent vaylan home, not further south. he continues to surprise and baffle me.
if anything happens to him before i find him, i don't know what i'll do. i can't really think about the negative possibilities that old ...being mentioned. because if i do i don't know what i'll do, honestly. i just have to focus on the good, and how i'm going to trounce him when i get to him.
dumb ass knot head really thought he could leave and tell me nothing? put his life at risk for what?? he has a future mate, and children, waiting for him. not to mention our parents and siblings. if something were to happen to him now, i don't know if the littles would remember him like they should. i know i'm not the only one worried and missing him, i'm just the only one able to find him now.
i have to find him, and he has to be ok.
then i'm gonna kick him in the knot.
