i'm not sure i have a favorite meal in the way of like, preferred foods? like, i love fresh meat cooked over a fire after catching it the hunt. i love veggies from the garden vaylan tends. i love pastas, breads, cheeses, and dark chocolate, especially after my heats.
but for all of these foods, my favorite meals are those shared with the people who matter. our family is large, and wrangling us all into one meal is a challenge on the best of days.
on my and vaylan's last birthday, we had a full family meal. i don't even remember exactly what we ate, but we were surrounded by the pack. i had littles arguing over my lap and crawling into it the whole time. it was chaos and laughter, good food, great conversation, but most importantly it was the people who mean the most to me.
oh! there was pasts with garlic, brown bread, veggies from the garden, and fresh hunt. And cookies, lots of cookies.
