you confuse me to no end. how can someone be so full of self hatred and disgust that they live off garbage? how can someone blame themselves so heavily for something that was clearly done to them? how can you be filled with such anger and sadness and not consumed by it?
 
or is that the secret, really, you are consumed by your anger and sadness? the snark, the disinterest, the chill vibe is all just a cover for a heart that's just screaming in pain? i suspect it, but i know you'll never say.
 
i don't know who these people are that have taken you, or why even really. but i do know you think we won't come for you. not because you don't think we could, but because you don't think you deserve it. and you're wrong. i'm not sure what's happened to you while you've been gone, but i'm sure you don't deserve it. no one deserves it.
 
realta is going to help us find you, and then we're gonna figure out how to save you. i have no idea how, but we'll manage. we got vaylan, we're gonna get you too. maybe then you'll trust us. i think we've more than earned it. i don't need all your sordid history, it's really not my business. but if there are people out there who will come for you, who we need to be prepared for, then we deserve to know.
 
i know you're jumpy and practically skittish, but trust us. we won't let anything happen to you if we can control it. did you see that kes and i tried to fight off those mages? it didn't work but we didn't just sit there and let them take you. and if you can trust us enough to tell us, we can do our best to not let that or something like it happen again.
 
i don't know why i'm writing this letter, it's not like i'm going to give it to you. really i'm just going to burn it when i'm done. it's hard to organize my thoughts and feelings on you when you're not here to have them at.
 
i miss you, garbage bunny. i think we have the potential for real friendship. so don't give up, we'll find you.
