Half-Elves
Half-Elves are a species of humanoid spread throughout much of the world. They can be found in nearly every landmass and nation state, but are most commonly found within areas where Humans and Elves can both be found. They like the Half-Orcs are a cross-breed species, its two parent species being Humans and Elves. They are distinct due to their mostly human appearance with some Elvish features and due to their much longer lives than Humans. They are typically seen as having slightly above average intelligence. The species is generally known to largely vary in temperment and ability with much of both depending on the parentage of an individual and the geographic location they come from.

Geographic Origin and Distribution
The species is one of the most widespread of any in the world. They can be found any place where Humans and any sub-species of Elves can be found. The most common places to find them are within the Kingdom of Sildra-Tor, Tangir Sultanate, Listuroni Sultanate and the Free Cities.

The species does exist within many different nations of the world although the only major one they have come to be a major part of is the Free Cities along the northeastern tip of the continent.

History
The species is unique from most others along with the Half-Orcs by not being created by any of the gods of the world. It is believed the species came about after cross-breeding between the Humans and various sub-species of Elves of the world. They are solely unique in the fact that the species is thought to have originated from various different places due to its creation relying on the prescence of Humans and Elves in the same place. The species has spread throughout much of the world of Zalastor although the species is smaller in number than most of the world.
