AESIR Mk.II
Born from the crucible of forbidden arts, where genetic manipulation intertwines with technological sorcery, the AESIR emerge as relentless avatars of brutality and surgical devastation.Unleashing an unyielding maelstrom of unrelenting carnage, the Mk.II AESIR (Augmented and Enhanced Strike, Infiltration, and Reconnaissance) super-soldier emerges from the twisted abyss of the immensely successful NeMeSIS program. Redefining the very essence of brutality, this latest generation of AESIR is the embodiment of savagery and desolation. Like its predecessor, the AESIR Mk.I, the core under armour exo-skeleton is a profane creation exclusively birthed within the twisted depths of The Black Foundry. Bestowed upon members of the Imperium Coalition, it serves as a conduit of war.
They are the harbingers of doom, a force cloaked in shadowed might, their every step a symphony of merciless destruction.
Swift as the wind, they become the tempest incarnate, a whirlwind of unyielding fury, leaving naught but desolation in their wake. Amidst the carnage of the battlefield, they embody the grim portents of an age steeped in darkness, obliterating all who dare defy their wrath with a chilling precision, a cruel force of inexorable doom.
Each AESIR, a monstrous reflection of their nation's doctrines, customizes this malevolent shell, adorning it with an array of sub-systems, armour, and decorations, augmented to their preferred methods and fueling their insatiable hunger for field dominance.
Performance Enhancing EQuipment (PEEQ)
As part of the development process within the NeMeSIS programme, The Black Foundry define several key pieces of equipment that should be provided to an AESIR. Most notabily, the under armour exo-skeleton that every AESIR utilizes. These pieces of equipment that The Black Foundry sets out design schematics, briefs and technical evaluations for; to enable members of the Imperium Coalition to implement and utilise are:
Exo-Skeleton
At the core of the formidable AESIR Mk.II platform lies the Exo-Skeleton, meticulously crafted by The Black Foundry under the auspices of the NeMeSIS program, in collaboration with Helix Technica. This technological marvel surpasses its predecessor, the bulkier and less-efficient Mk.I exo-skeleton, through a fusion of compact yet potent servos, resilient yet lightweight alloys, and an evolutionary design shaped by the art of additive manufacturing. The result is an exo-skeleton of unparalleled efficiency. Unyielding in its purpose, the exo-skeleton serves as a versatile canvas for endless augmentations. It boasts a purpose-built mounting method, exclusive to its structure, enabling swift attachment of plating, subsystems, and weaponry. This seamless integration not only expedites the armament process but also ensures unwavering reliability, establishing a steadfast connection for both hardware and vital data signals alike.Armour and sub-systems
Whilst the exact materials, shaping and design of the various sub-systems and armour utilised by an AESIR are not defined by The Black Foundry, they do provide guidelines for minimum and maximum boundaries of armour pieces as well as define how they are to be affixed to the underlying exo-skeleton.Jump-jets and manuvering thrusters
The AESIR Mk.II armour is adorned with high-thrust, short burn-time jump jets strategically integrated into the spinal and calf sections. These propulsion systems exhibit diverse configurations tailored to the specific demands of each suit. Take, for instance, the GUNGNIR/Akula variant deployed by the Alliance of Democratic Nations - a grand singular thruster aligns seamlessly along the spinal column. This imposing centerpiece finds reinforcement in the form of dual sets of angular wings, poised as both air brakes and aids for precise maneuvering. Complementing this arrangement, each calf houses a supplementary thruster, granting further control over direction and augmenting the lift potential of these formidable warriors. Such mastery of propulsion ensures unparalleled mobility upon the battlefield, defying the constraints of gravity itself.
I love the standard Augmentations, looks like the start of super soldiers, especially the N.E.R.V. system. Very cool article.
Thank you! I'm not quite done with them yet, I have a few more augmentations to add but I'm still working those out haha. I'll send out a notification once I add the new ons :D
