Phantom Gum

Phantom gum a dark blue substance that oozes from the bottom of a shallow stream that worms between the Foggy Hills and Mist Shores. It is praised as a miracle healing agent capable, even, of regrowing lost limbs.
Manufacturing process
Panning
Prospectors use a wide, shallow bowl or tray, with sloping sides, to scoop the slurries from the phantom stream. Allow the mixture to settle and gently tilt the container one way or another; and swirl. This motion helps to separate any denser components from the rest of the gum.History

So speculate that a God buried beneath the Kraken Shells makes the gum that rises to the surface. And this somehow correlates to Eeat's supernatural properties as the source of all gum.
Significance

Eeat is not the source of gum. If it were, gum would bubble out of Eeat's foundations year after year and there would never be a low point in gum mining. Deposits of gum along its stream are replenished every 50 years in the flood cycles. Mayhaps, there is a Drowned God somewhere in the deep Pearl Sea because we know for certain that that it is where gum exist in abundance and is then forced inland during the semi-centennial seasons.
