Eras of History

The civilizations that rose from the Phervian empire started the calendar from year 1 despite the rich history of the split continent. As more information was discovered about the past, it was split into eras of civilization.

First era

Known as the first era of history, while near nothing is known a few ruminant's remain. What is known is the major power was the Primordials. The first gods also come from this era.

Lost in time

Both Zumil and The first lich are known to come from this time period. As is the Sanctuary of the first ones and the twin temples of the Father and Dina in the lowlands

Forgotten past

The title is given to the time period one-hundred-thousand years before the slave revolts. While very little is known about this time period, bits and pieces have been worked out from what is known.

Seeds of life

Several species originate from this time period, including the Draconic races, Aven Species, Goblinoids, Dryads, Elves, and several extinct species. Though non of these races seemed to have a distinct civilization at first, the Elves had started building their cities by the end of the era as had the Goblinoids established their tribes.
The Ancient primal beasts also seem to come from this era, as do the Greatwyrms.

Relics of the past

Several structures still stand from this era, becoming the main source of information for it. These are Wū Yāo Mén, Outcast cave, and several other sage hideouts seem to have its roots in this era as well.
The Azaria braziers were made in this era as was the recipe for the Divine Elixir.

Scraps of Lore

Though various bits of information are scattered throughout the world bit and pieces of history have been recovered such as the The Crystalline calendar. It is known for a large section of the time in this period, a race called the Vedalken ruled the majority of Undinia. It is thought that these beings were masters of arcane flesh sculpting and may have created the other races.
A few hundred years before the end of the era a cataclysm wiped the Vadalken as well as most of the history off the map. Due to a letter from Draco the date of this is known to be in 147 of the Malgorith period and the area was an outpost of Vedal. It also saw the opening of the first temporal circle.
The still death and The silent fury and drowned forsaken are from this period.

Ancient Era

Starting around one hundred thousand before the slave revolts, with the founding of Drake Vil to twenty thousand years before, with the arrival of the Phervian, this era saw the rise and fall of the Draconic empire, Originally thought under Drake, Sardia, and finally Essyrri. In reality, it was under the joint rule of Draco and Saridia, then Essyrri.
Around 9000 years into this period, Draco sealed away Sardia, with the help of several of his children and The wanderer. Opening the second temporal circle.
The Elvan Cities also became true city-states in their own right in this Era, as well as it was believed the arrival of the greatwyrms at various points, though it was discovered in the Fey age that all of them were born in the first two thousand years.
The Draconic cities were found in this period and trade with the Tieflings also opened up. The stolen egg and Lilsea, The mother of spiders is also set in this era.

Phervian Era

Starting with the Arrival of the Phervian, twenty thousand years before the slave revolts and lasting till year one The Phervian is also known by the title Dark Ages due to the small amount of writing and learning of non-Phervian that took place. This age saw the Elves and Dwarves retreat into their cities and a few sanctuaries pop up to protect those who escaped. Eva and Malkav were both born in this era and the Crown of the White city was made.

Era of Ages

The current Era of Undinia is split into thousand-year intervals called ages. The ages are decided by a group of Sears at Sepa academy, chosen from around the world. The name is often picked from events seen happening early in the age.

Rebel age

Saw the Slave revolts happen, the creation of the Shifter race, the collapse of the Phervian empire, and the start of the Mire of lost souls. It was named for the widespread revolts that dominated the first century of the Age.

Devine age

The age was named after the ongoing crusades of the Empire of Akoom, the majority of the age being its expansion.

Blood age

The most ominous name seen, every Sear reportedly screamed it out at the same time and refused to say what they saw. It is assumed to be the rivers of blood caused by the Demon Prophet in the first half of the second century. This age saw Essyrri try to restore the Draconic empire, the Akoomite's northern crusade and the Demon prophet and collapse of the Empire of Akoom.

Chroma age

Called so due to the increase in Chromatic Draconics, this age saw various groups trying to recover from the Empire's collapse as well as open warfare between Essyrri and Jindrai

Fey age

Named after Tatiana was called to be one of the sears to name the Age, Raelgil Sepa just overrode the system. The first century and a half were dominated by the Crisis of the Fey age. This also saw the closing of both temporal circles.
