The Crystalline calendar predates even the ancient Draconic empire. Seemingly following the passage of seasons of the
Zezhuanth desert, schoolers have realized it has shifted between three and five months since its creation. The calendar was restarted at the start of the Rebel age which many use to explain the shift, though the
Shadowbrook calendar seems to confirm it is shifting. Divided into 9 months of 40 days each, Many of the month name meanings are lost, though several have been rediscovered. Below is a list of what is known about each month and the key celebrations within each month. Founder's days are grouped together in each month.
Kasdard
The first month of the year was mysterious for entire ages to most, till
Grunkle's Angels found an Phervian Dairy in 122 Fey that explained it was a Verkin deity of transformation of the same name. Those who traveled to other plains explained it wouldn't be the first world to do such a thing.

Mire of the lost souls equivalent of the year's beginning happens on the fourth day of light with a celebration during the hour of light.

Knowledge of this comes from the Phervian, which makes how long it took for Karshad to be discovered laughable, as it was in the same source. Kasdiel is the Verkin word for flesh sculpting and the creation of new lifeforms from old. Significant as when the shift is taken into account this would place it with the colder weather, specifically when many fur animals would change into thicker coats.

Caste'n Day Celebrated on the 40th by
Crestfall where every within the 'city' who came of age in the last year selects their caste.
