Shadowbrook

A small village built on the foothills of Ered Mithrin by refugees of the Mire of lost souls. Never growing above a small village center surrounded by farms, the importance of Shadowbrook at the start of Fey age broke the world, but also could be its salvation.

Early beginings

The site of a battle during the slave revolts brought down Raviwrar and turned Wralin to stone. The site became an honored site throughout the Dragon and Devine age. The site became less frequent during the later half of the Devine age as the growing Mire forced more to leave the area.

Refugee village

In twenty blood a group of refugees escaping the Mire decided to set up a camp around the statue, not understanding what it truly was. Building up the town in near isolation due to the abandonment of the area, Shadowbrook grew into a self-sufficient village, only trading with the Dwarfs of Djov's Indu. It would be the tail end of the blood age when the village was rediscovered by the world stage when a few of its young adults decided to leave.

Last stop

Despite its existence becoming common knowledge, Shadowbrook was still mostly left alone, only really getting visited by those venturing further south. This was the status quo till the end of the Chroma age when Wralin was destroyed and his spell focus stolen, a group of teens ventured after the raiders, becoming the catalyst for, possibly the end of the world. Life however continued as normal in the little village.
