Lilsea, The mother of spiders

A beautiful Tiefling maiden, named Lilsea was given to the temple of Qruzsoi, Goddess of magic and knowledge.. Growing more beautiful as she aged Lilsea attracted the attention of many suitors, both Dragonborn and Tiefling. Lilsea found she could use her looks to get what she wanted and so flaunted them in full view of the other priestess. By doing this she grew cold and vein, thinking she was better than other women.
When a Dragonborn noble's son arrived in the city, he quickly became the talk of the town due to the Sapphire he carried. When Lilsea heard this she paid him a visit to get the gem, when non of her normal tricks worked she offered herself for it but still he refused. The next day the Dragonborn presented the Sapphire to the high priestess when Lilsea burst out crying accusing the man of raping her. He was arrested and slated for execution by beheading, only for the axe to shatter on contact. In the doorway of the temple, a Lilsea writhed in agony as her body mutated, her rich purple skin turned a sickly green and the lower half of her body turned into the body of a spider. As the crowd recoiled in horror, Lilsea retreated into the depths of the temple, killing anyone she came across.
Over the next few weeks, Lilsea would lure young men into the temple with her voice never to be seen again. This came to a head when a giant spider came out to attack some guards. Fearing the loss of the temple and eventually, the city, the news was sent to the Dragon prison. The Goliath prison captain responded by coming up to the temple armed only with the shattered executioner's axe. After 3 hours a shriek filled the city as the mutated Lilsea was dragged out by the Goliath. Now so big she barely fit through the temple's doors, Lilsea was utterly repulsive and obviously heavily pregnant, People turned in horror as she was dragged through the city to the prison.
Several days later a clerk was found naked and dead, killed weeks ago by a priestess dagger.

Historical Basis

Girliorth's Sentient form is said to be a Goliath. Wesern cross was overrun with giant spiders.

Variations & Mutation

• In Rivell, Lilsea accuses a prince and is slain by a knight of The Goddess, Qruzso is also replaced by the Goddess. It is set in north Rivell rather than Sapphire Gate.

• In the Kingdoms of Akoom it's an Orc, not a Goliath.
