Arabas Stellar Engine

The Arabas stellar engine is designed to harvest the radiation of the sun and place large forces on the star and move it. It does this by taking all the energy similar to a Dyson sphere and directing it backwards using a powerful fusion thruster. The hydrogen for this is obtained from star lifting the star, so the Stellar Engine can accelerate significantly and drag the system with it, as long as the SR are careful.
The stellar engine is also habitable in some parts of the surface, so it has a significant To'rer'ot population. The SR has defended it primarily with a large number of shipyards, though other methods are taken into account too. It has defence platform stations orbiting the star and megastructure (typically armed with railguns). Many of these defence platforms are also fitted with large space fighter hangars as well.
This star lifter can also stockpile a large amount of fuel in order to perform short range FTL jumps. It will never feasibly travel between galaxies, but it has enough warp jump range to jump about 10 ly. Jumps done this way will also bring the rest of the system with the star. It can use Transmutation Reactor technology to transmute, but does not often do this as the rest of the megastructure requires a large amount of energy and hydrogen to operate.
