A Portent of Things to Come

The heroes are introduced by Floki & Mikael to three Counts (de'Ath, Siggersin, and Peeters). They are to be met at the Tower of Emon Kanis, where they are conducting a walkthrough of a magical experiment that went wrong and shook the Tower & surrounding buildings, as well as filling one of the floors with a thick acrid fog.
At the same time a character called Scotch Decaprius has been sent north to hook up with Grimmaz & the team, as a back up & as their scholar. He can appear any time, and sent by Father Tossil who has sent Scotch from Wien in Austria.
