The Industrial World of Titus Majora
A growing industrial powerhouse within the Gulf, Titus Majora output has identified it as potential upgrade to Forge world and as such transferred into the charge of the Adeptus Mechanicus. The planet's main output is general supplies for all the imperial needs from tools for workers to weapons for the Imperial Guard. The planet is most well known for its variation of Autoguns and its own specialist Autoguns, the Titus Pattern Assault Autoguns.
Geography
The planet has five large continents with with a major Industrial Hive city on the planet and great manufactorums within them and several recently constructed. Outside of the main cities there are still several small towns dotted across the continents connected by massive trainlines.
The planet is 50% water, now tainted with pollution but nothing of the serious nature. The increase in pollution levels have tainted the soil and air to a minor degree.
The planet has several large mountain ranges dotted across all 5 continents. The planet still has several massive forest regions but they are rapidly begin cut down support the needs of the planet.
Due to the angle of the planet in relation to its sun the northern hemisphere is generally cold where the southern hemisphere is considerably warmer. The Southern polar cap is a largely desert region rich with mineral that are being mined.
Ecosystem
The environment is still reasonably pure, the increase in pollution levels has started to effect the atmosphere and the mass lumbering actions has placed the environment under stress.

The locals use a four season similar to old earth.
Each lasting roughly 5 standard months.
Localized Phenomena
The increase in pollution has caused occasional spells of heavy acid rain. These then to be preluded with large amounts of tainted red skies in the days prior to the onset of the the rains.
The second phenomena that can be found on the planet is pollution induced skies, the light of the moon reacts with the chemicals in the sky to generate a red night. These can be preludes to the acid rains at times.
History
The planet of Titus Majora had been in the service of the Imperium for just over 400 standard years. A lost colony returned to the bosom of the God Emperor, Titus was quick to want to re-establish links with their lost brethren.
Earliest records recovered from the planet indicated that it was a colony vessel that had been lost the warp and spat out in this region of space. Finding the closest inhabitable world then sent down and just the components of the ship to create the first city and the planet's capital. This appears to be in the 38th millennia to the best of the Administratum knowledge.
When the Imperium came and their laws were enforced Titus prospered. Improved trading and contact with the Imperium massively improved the coffers of the planet and the tithe though tough was easily achieved with the increased focus on material output. The major cities started to become hive like, the increased output needing larger populations of workers to supply them.
The civil unrest began 80 years ago after the recent elevation of the now Planetary Governor Josef Van'Drel. Ten years after the promotion to the governor, Van'Drel oversaw the largest founding of Imperial Guard regiments of the planet's history. 50 regiments were ordered to be founded, for a massively incursion into neighbouring sector. The founding ruined the population, cause massive shortages in workers. The Mechanicus saw its chance and pushed on the planet seeing its worthy to the Ominissah. Vast legions of servitors were used to support the output and the Mechanicus gained more power. Van'Drel began to complain frequently to the Sector Governor but his complaints fell on deaf ears.
The local population started to suffer for the Mechanicus' input. Riots became more frequent and Adeptus Arbites were stationed enforced at assist in putting down the unrest. This was difficult with the subtle support of the Governor, though the authorities were unable to prove this.
The planet stands on a knife edge ready to fall into rebellion and succession.
Tourism
While off worlders were generally accepted 100 years ago and welcomed in the form of workforce and visitors, in the recent years Titus Major has been xenophobic towards outsiders which is generally deal with either suspicion or outright hostiles.
