The Feral world of Gemmel
One of the first planets found in the Gulf, Gemmel which was classifed as a feral world was populated with humanity which over the years splintered into clans. Then settling in their own places to grow their population centres.
Geography
Gemmel consists of vast forest regions and rocky mountains. There are several large continents separated by large bodies of water.
The northern and southern poles are mainly rocky with large amounts of snow.
Ecosystem
The clans themselves survive in towns built into the large wooden trees dotted across the planet. From there they hunt the wildlife various beasts and aerial creatures whose flesh is sold as part of their tithe alongside the manpower for military forces.
The ocean also has several large predators, some of which oils and skin are very high quality fuel sources and protection from acidic environments.
There are also several beasts of burden that can be captured and used by the Imperium.
Ecosystem Cycles
The year pattern is approximately 1.5 Terra year.
They have several seasons as below
Hot season - This season is where the planet is closest to the sun, the radiation in the open become nearly fatal without adequate protection.
Damp season - As the planet move away from the sun, the melted liquid from the polar caps causes large amounts of rain in which the local humans use this time to plant crops.
Harvest season - This is the rough mid year in the cycle, this period of time the local population begin to harvest their crops and prepare their beasts for the trade that comes in the following season.
Dark season - Named for the fact that the skies are full of aircraft blocking the light, this is when the merchants and traders arrive in force to conduct trading and selling of the harvests and beasts collected by locals. They travel to large open planes where the buying and selling of beasts and supplies occurred and the tithes are collected and shipped off world.
Cold season - Cold season is the furthest distance from the sun, large amount of snow fall occurs and the polar caps refreeze along side several large bodies of water.

The trees produce large amount of sap which can be used as an incredibly strong industrial glue as a mortar.
The wood from the trees can also be effectively burned for very long periods of times and can generate huge amounts of energy effective is the melting of common metals.
