The Garden world of Prima Octavia
One of the two "Gem" planets of the Gulf alongside The Pleasure World of Castor Prima Octavia is a garden world populated by the Octavia Dynasty of Rogue Traders.
Geography
The planet is perfect. Great rolling untouched fields, crystal clear rivers and clear oceans.
Part of the planet is used as a great game reserve where the rich come to hunt.
The Rogue Traders ensure that planet in untouched by pollution.
Ecosystem
The planet is in a perfect orbit, the summers warm and the winters controllable.
Ecosystem Cycles
The yearly cycle is broken down into two phases the Warm season and the cold season. Each lasting roughly half the planet's year.
History
Found by the leader of the Prima-Octavia Rogue Trader Dynasty. and taken as the capital of the Dynasty headquarters they expended great amounts of the influence and money into turning the world into a profit generator. Several large hotel space stations were placed into orbit with a great cable connecting to surface. This is how visitors are transported to the surface and then taken to the local hotels via carriage and animal.
The planet is now known as the green gem, one of the two gems of the Gulf.
The rich and powerful come to the planet to relax, hunt and participate in any interests they have.
Tourism
The planet is frequented by the rich and powerful of the sector. They stay in one of the dozen hotel stations in orbit around the planet and are transported to the surface by the great cable cars. There are local hotels planet side to allow visitors to remain on the surface overnight to enjoy the planet in all its forms.
The space hotels allow them to enjoy all the vices that can't be received on the surface.
