Technocrat of Wolf

"Marshall Gegentot is the oldest Technocrat under my command. She's been in charge of the Wolf system for three hundred years. I know that she technically has no rights in the Pan-Solar Consortium... but dead or alive she's still the best choice."   ~Gabriel Tremblay, Speaker for Mankind

Warden of Hell

The Technocrat of Wolf is the only Technocrat that requires an intricate knowledge of Archaeology, Redspace Adversarial Intelligences, and prison-population control. Not only are these qualities incredibly rare altogether, most of those on the Technocrat Registry are aware of them and actively avoid taking them together for fear that a future Speaker might reverse centuries of policy and replace Marshall Gegentot.

Guardian of the Backdoor

The ToW's primary responsibility is to prevent misuse of the Backdoor against the Sol System. Secondarily, the Technocrat of Wolf is tasked with overseeing the scientific and archaeological exploration of the ruins on Wolf's planets, manage corporate expectations, and oversee the continued development of the Wolf planets for use as potential population centers. This work is largely done by the Condemned and other prisoners supported by AI and Bioroids. For most, it's a death sentence, and they know it, so riots and violence are commonplace. The Technocrat of Wolf is expected to know how to deal with these sorts of things.   In addition to a contingent from the Solar Defense Fleet, Marshall Immozene has organized the Wolfguard as the Planetary Defense Forces of the Wolf Worlds. They have developed a reputation as fanatical soldiers for the Consortium thanks to Immozene's expertise in Brainwashing.

Undead and Loving It

Immozene Gegentot is a Necroid. She died in battle in 241 fighting Rigelians. Her last order to her Sergeant was to use a Necrotube so she could finish the fight. Legally, she died that day and as a Necroid she has rights as a civilian, not a citizen. Technically, she should have been taken off of the Technocrat Registry, but she demanded to replace the Technocrat of Wolf. This was hardly a coveted position, and the Speaker for Mankind granted her the position. She proved so effective that the PSC allowed her to install a maintenance facility on the PSC Chains of Fenris, prolonging her life indefinitely. She has become a staple, a legend, and a monument of effective command.
