Tensei is a world of mythic fantasy, where the woods are dark and mysterious, gods are fickle and cruel, and devils hide among the stars. The Well of the World stands at the center of the world, the seed from which creation has blossomed. It is the source of all souls and the seat of Reincarnation - heroes and villains, emperor and beggar, all souls return to the Well in time. All emerge again into the world with new faces and new lives. Try as they might to prevent it, the gods themselves will perish and be born again in mortal form.
