Feldon
Wallace sat on a large rock drinking heavily from his waterskin, working in the mine was thirsty work. He blinked the dust away from his eyes and coughed clearing his throat, some day he thought to himself he would have the money to pay for Lizzy and him to move away from Feldon, the work paid well but how he hated spending most of his day working in the dark passage ways.The village of Feldon lies north of Freeport nestled on the side of Mount Ingle, it's mine is rich in iron and silver providing a source of wealth for the village, most of the ore is carried south to the smelties of Freeport.

Government
The village is governed by a small council of local representatives, the head of the council is given the title of Major.
Defences
The village is protected by a small group of village guards, most have very little military training and the most they have to deal with is a few stray wolves or bears. A number of private guards are also employed by the Four Winds Trading Company and Artemes Scott to protect the mine and the caravans, these guards change once a week with the arrival of a new caravan.
At anyone time there will be approximately ten local guards and about eight trained mercenaries in the area.
Industry & Trade
Feldon's main industry is not surprisingly Iron and Silver from the mine, the local farms provide food for the local villagers and they also grow hops for ale that is sold at the local tavern and Inn.
Guilds and Factions
Feldon has a miner's guild that ensure the miners are treated fairly and ensure their safety. The guild is on good terms with the owner of the mine and although the work is hard the labourers are treat well.
History
Feldon has been a village for approximately 30 years now, it was first found when silver was discovered in the mountains. Artemes Scott funded the operation with help from the Four Winds Trading Company.
Architecture
Most of the buildings in the village are constructed from stone and have slate roofs. The various outhouses and sheds are made from wood and stone.
Geography
Feldon lies on the slopes of Mount Ingle on the edge of the forest. Trees have been clear to make way for the village and its surrounding farms. The White Water river runs along the eastern edge of the town and a large well has been sunk in the middle of the village providing two sources of freshwater for the village.
Natural Resources
Stone, Silver and Iron from the mine, lumber from the surrounding forests, barley, vegetables from the farms, as well as goats and sheep that graze in the mountain pastures north and east of the village.
