Freeport: Greenwood
Situated on the western side of freeport the small thorpe known as Greenwood provides timber for the port. It is a busy village nestled against the surround forests, mills dot the river bank and most people in the area either work at the mills or fell trees for timber.
Defences
With the aid of a resident druid the local foresters keep the area safe from wild beasts In times of trouble the inhabitants are defended by the Freeport Guard and can be evacuated to Freeport if necessary.
Industry & Trade
The main trade of greenwood is timber that is used heavily in the city.
Infrastructure
A large force of wood cutters supply timber for the sawmills in the area. New trees planted by a group of foresters who with the aid of a local druid the forest is ensured to remain strong and abundant, this allows freeport to have a sustainable source of wood and for the forests to remain intact.

Mostly timber, wattle and daub building with thatched roofs. The sawmills in the area are built from cut stone.
