The White Swan
This rural inn provides a place to meet for the local populace and serves as a rest stop for travellers, It has a few rooms that can be rented and servers hot food during the afternoon and evening. It is clean and well maintained and is considered of good quality by the people of Midthorn. The tap room can hold twenty people easily and on busy evenings will have anywhere from twenty to thirty people present.
Alterations
The inn used to have a stable but this has now been refurbished as houses for local citizens and the stables are now located outside of the settlement to the north.
Architecture
Lower floors are made from local stone, and the upper floors are timber framed wattle and daub. The roof is tiled with blue slate and is in good repair. Internally the building consist of two main rooms the common room and the kitchen. Upstair can be found the guest rooms and above those are the living quarters for the owner and his family. There is also a small cellar used to store barrels and food stuffs.
History
The White Swan is the oldest building in Midthorn and was originally a travelers inn and social gather point for the local farmers, the hamlet has grown up around it over the years. The orginal owner of the inn was Emanual Colard Father.
