Jungles of Kash-pah
Far east of Karradone, beyond even the Jungles of Thallox where the Kari-Zaro both make their homes and trade with the occasional Eldorian who has braved the long overland journey, a land of heat, humidity, and nightmare. Some may argue that Thallox and Kash-pah are merely one giant forest, albeit one where the great spike of water known as the Heavenly Sea has been driven through all but its most northerly heart, but they would be wrong. That very sea and the weather blowing off it drives up the humidity in the Kash-pah, making it wetter, hotter, and more dense that the jungles of Thallox.
The Jungles of Kash-pah, Near Firedrake Ridge
Traditionally considered the border between the two forests, the western-most mangroves of the Pontrien Delta, where Dakkon River meets the Sea, is a most extreme example of these this wet, often submerged climate, but almost all of Kash-pah floods periodically, leaving only islands of roots and highways of branches above water. While the wet jungle provides bountiful leaves and fruits for its many residents, it is truly aa land of predator and prey. It his here, beneath the dark canopy of engkol and aren, and rubber trees, where the land is dominated by scaled creatures - be they dinosaur, serpent, or dragon - that the Tzecheni'korak, one of Tarien's most ancient cultures, makes their home.
