Pontrien Delta
Filled with twisting waterways and the tangled roots of mangroves, the brackish water of this delta stretches for miles between the mouths of the Dakkon and Pontrien rivers. Teeming with life, from vibrant orchids to terrifyingly colorful serpents, the delta is one of the most diverse ecosystems on Tarien. Crocodiles and sharks alike make their way through its waterways. Panthers and packs of raptors patrol the thick vegetation that grows on its small islands. A cacophony of bird and monkey cries echo from its a canopy. And, paddling its waterways with silent strokes, living in stilted homes, are the deltas true masters, the Tzecheni'korak.
