Notable Locations

The following in an incomplete list of large locations with easy connections to The Boloxol Turnpike.
  1. The Pike
  2. Our starting location, a highway over a dangerous isthmus, connecting Bolox and Kakaani. Many Goblins, Gnomelings, and Dwarves live here, taking advantage of their small stature to maximize the little available space.
  3. Boloxol
  4. The busiest and most chaotic city in the world. Governed by an uneasy coalition of the Mage's Guild, Vampire Courts, Merchant's Guild, Goblin Mafia, and figurehead Prince. Anyone and anything can be found here for a price. Truly a rogue's haven.
  5. Kakaani
  6. Similar to Bolox, although, in recent years, the leadership of the city, which was assumed to be a puppet state of Bolox, has isolated itself and increasingly left the people of the city to fend for themselves.
  7. Darren
  8. The capital of the Redeemed Brakan Empire, and the holiest city in the world. Grand temples and libraries fill the city. Outside of the capitol are many towns and quaint farming villages. Many elven enclaves owe fealty to Darren, as well as a few nomadic orcish groups.
  9. Mistral
  10. The borderlands of the Redeemed Brakan Empire and the chaotic Serpent's Spine. Ruled over by Towerlords and their draconic allies, they technically owe fealty to Darren, although in practice they are effectively independent.
  11. Fyria
  12. The Free Peoples of Fyria are a very loose alliance of small kingdoms, republics, tribes, and more, brought together in common opposition to the Redeemed Brakan Empire. With the current tenuous peace, the Free Peoples are falling more and more to internal squabbling.
  13. Khag Darum
  14. The greatest existing Dwarvish stronghold, as old as the fabled halls of Val Farum in the Serpent's Spine. The coastal fortress enables the dwarves to survive the extreme weather and stormy seas. Many sea dwarves of Din Diral fled to Khag Darum as refugees.
  15. The Academy
  16. The grandest academy of magic in Seori, situated on a remote island in the middle of the sea. No student pays tuition, and scouts scour the land for promising youths to bring to study. However, the course of study is rigorous, and oftentimes the Academy itself encourages students to see the world.
  17. The Grimforge
  18. A new settlement built around the volcanic hotspot in the Span of Engeltrie. Its presence irks the leaders of Bolox immensely, but the Grimforge is very wealthy, and very powerful. It is at the forefront of engineering and arcanotech in Seori, and also the home base of the ubiquitous Moneychanger's Guild.

Religion in Seori

The most powerful deities in Seori, the Ascendants with two powers, are generally divided into these pantheons. Most of the devout don't follow a single deity though, rather following aligned group, often including Ascendants with three or even four powers. These churches often include deities from different pantheons, and individual clerics will often commune with multiple gods.   The True Gods   The Fates   The Hungers   The Strifes   The Redeemed   The Whispered   Opposition
