Seori is an Earth-sized medieval, fantastical world.  

Ages of the World

Primieval Era

The creation of Seori took millions of years. This time is dominated by the actions of the gods and titans. There is little evidence of sapient humanoid races from this time.

Age of the Gods

The beginning of humanoid history on Seori. It saw the dominance of divine might, and the beginnings of arcane study. The Age of the Gods ended with the destruction of the gods, the imprisonment of the Ovaettrs, and the Crossroads War.

Listless Ages

With the greatest divine powers gone, the next age of Seori's history saw the slow decline of celestial power, with warring factions dimishing in power. Meanwhile, mortal arcane studies picked up, placing mortals as a power on par with titans. The Listless Ages ended with the Second Crossroads War and the first Ascensions.

The Ascendant Age

The current age of Seori. Divine power is wielded by the Ascendants, native beings who are able to tap into the reserves of power left behind by the death of the gods. The Ascendants wield great power but are generally disorganized and in conflict with each other, and, in this age, arcane and technological powers are ever-growing, preventing the re-establisment of divine order.
