The Whispered

The Whispered are the gods that all other gods wish didn't exist. The True Gods and The Redeemed work hard to prevent the knowledge and power offered by the Whispered from passing among mortals.
But they can't stop it all. Cults and lone prophets cause devastation throughout civilized lands, with many warlords and dark sorcerers owing their success to dark deals with dark gods. Most of the celestial beings commonly called demons and devils serve the Whispered, although many serve The Hungers, and some serve lesser Ascendants or other dark powers.
