Seaton

Overview

Seaton is the capital of Salinmoor and was once a very prosperous fishing village before a slaver raid razed it. The royal correction to that calamity has been to turn Seaton into a naval and military bastion.

The folk of Saltmarsh point to Seaton as an example of the fate they want to avoid.

Significance

King Kimbertos Skotti used the Sea Princes raid on Seaton as the impetus to Keoland's new southern intiative. Seaton's proximity to the Hold of the Sea Princes and deep water port make it a strategically important location in the fight against the pirate confederacy.

Features

Today, Seaton has been transformed into a drab fortress. The harbor is heavily fortified and a large garrison of naval ships, infantry, and cavalry serve as the primary defense point for Salinmoor.

Duke Marik Feldren rules over the town in his capacity as governor of the capital. Duke Feldren has been tasked with vanquishing piratical incursions and preparing for an impending war against the Sea Princes.

Demographics

Almost entirely human, the once diverse population of Seaton's past migrated to Saltmarsh. It has been replaced by members, staff, and personnel of the royal military.
