Dwarven Anvil
The master smith here is a woman named Mafera and her son, Jasker, is her journeyman. Producing the best quality metal work in Saltmarsh, the Dwarven Anvil has a backlog of orders ten leagues long.
Inside, the Dwarven Anvil has everything but the dwarves, boasting an ancient anvil, fine dwarven smithing tools, and even a small yet somewhat neglected shrine to Moradin under the eaves. In the past these trappings went unquestioned, but with the recent influx of dwur from the Copperlocks Mining Company all sorts of speculation has begun to catch wind.
Some of the dwarves associated with the new mining operation would like to know how humans came into ownership of such old and excellent dwarven equipment. A few suspect treachery and angrily speak of what "rightfully" belongs to the dwur. Others grumble about disrespect, quickly pointing towards the dusty shrine or the mundane tasks their ancestors belongings are utilized for.
Indeed, despite their skill and fine dwarven tools, Mafera and Jasker spend day after day fulfilling what's in demand rather than special projects. Churning out top quality hooks, harpoons, knives, and similar nautical gear, they supply the most successful ships sailing out of Saltmarsh.
