Mariners' Guildhall
The Mariners' Guilds across the Crown Coast serve as somewhere a sailor can grab a bunk and a meal between quick turnarounds on voyages. Many guildsfolk live their lives at sea and have no permanent residence, so for the price of annual dues there's always somewhere to turn to on land.
Ship's captains who hold membership can also come in search of experienced crews, though they rarely take up residence outside of their cabins or homes. All members, or any folk paying the daily entrance fee, can also benefit from these halls being the best places to seek news from afar, discuss seafaring, and learn about immediate threats or dangers.
Saltmarsh's current guildmaster, Tabeth Ashshine, almost holds the position in name only. He is a besotted caricature of a mariner that fulfills a role none want. Yet, still, somehow the job gets done. Or doesn't matter.
