Tabeth Ashshine
Guildmaster (a.k.a. Asinine Ashshine)
Overview
To hear Tabeth tell it, there isn't a thing he hasn't done when it comes to life on the Azure. He's been everything from a fisherman to a pirate, and even spent a brief stint as a sahuagin after running afoul of some polymorph potion.
Personality
But if there's one potion Tabeth runs afoul of over and over again it's a hard drink. Constantly intoxicated to some extent, the man is a wellspring of confusing stories, bizarre advice, and utter nonsense. There are few who take him seriously anymore.
Beliefs
Avoidance and delay are the name of the game for Ashshine. For every task at hand in the guild, he manages to stay out of the way or creates accidental success by constantly delegating his duties to others.
Endeavors
If it wasn't for the fact that nobody wants the position as head of the Mariners' Guild he probably wouldn't even have it. He's become more of a mascot than master to most, so the mariners in the guild's ranks tend to have a soft spot for the old loon.
Besides, it isn't like the Mariners Guild needs much captaining. A guildhall is like a becalmed vessel: she needs only her crew to function.
