Crabber's Cove

Just east of the Saltmarsh docks are a collection of ruins known as Crabber's Cove. This stretch of beach is where the original frontier outpost of Saltmarsh was founded.

Long abandoned, the buildings are weathered and have fallen into decades of disrepair. Since the town's shift westward and to deep sea fishing, an overwhelming amount of crabs have returned to the once depopulated beach, taking up residence in the crumbling remains.

Crabbers are cautious about the cove, as more than one overeager Salt has disappeared into the clacking darkness, never to be seen again. The ruins sit mostly undisturbed these days, a place of memory and superstition.
