Overview
A dutiful and disciplined man, his dedication to a high level of upright strictness and moral certainty might be just the oppressive kind of air needed to wrench the grasp of the Sea Princes off of Salinmoor for good.
Personality
A fiercely patriotic loyalist, Cronin is seemingly resentful of his noble lineage's responsibilities to the Viscounty. He is unflappable, patient, and diligent when it comes to matters he believes in yet close minded and dismissive to most else.
Beliefs
Believing the southern region to be of little importance and a waste of his service to the Kingdom of Keoland, he seeks to transform the southern coast as a means of proving himself and elevating House Secunforth, so that it may move on to bigger and greater endeavors.
Amongst his own he is a kind of rebel and fanatic, looking to impose stricter sumptuary laws and greater royal restrictions.
Endeavors
So far the people of Salinmoor have mostly ignored or outright defied Cronin's outflow of decrees, proclamations, and laws. Unperturbed by criticism, the Viscount remains steadfast and committed to his vision.
Put off by the coastal life, he and his family spend most of their time just south of the Dreadwood in Burle, firmly on land, keeping a keen eye on their fiscal and mercantile responsibilities to Niole Dra. Despite these pretentions, the Viscount is not the kind of noble who relishes in a lavish lifestyle or expensive delights.
