Once the home of the Dwarves, the Sabrelands were usurped by the Drow and Elven alliance during the Age of Long Ago. Many natives fled the state to get away from their new Winter Witch oppressors.
The people who now remain in the Sabrelands, collectively known as Snegovik (or "snow people"), are masters of survival. They value toughness and loyalty, and never underestimate the natural and magical power of Winter.
