Darkon

Darkon is the largest of the nations making up the Land of Mists and the most diverse as well. This is partly to do with its ruler's home country and partly a result of it turning any who stay too long into age old citizens. Dwarves, halflings, elves and gnomes all call the domain home alongside the human population with some towns (such as Rivalis) having more of one of those races than humans.
The country is guarded and policed by a force known as the Kargat, made entirely of the undead. Their collection of living followers, the Kargatane, remains convinced that loyal service will gain them entry into the Kargat and alchemical immortality.

Culture

A mismatch of cultures from all over is the rule here. Those who adopt Darkon often keep their cultures and, as it prevents any emotional distress from then on, are encouraged to keep and spread them throughout their home.
