Berez

Berez was once a village, but now it's simply ruins in a swamp. Baba Lysaga operates out of here, sending out waves of scarecrows and other strange constructs to attack the Keepers of the Feather. While her hut no longer functions, she's still quite a terror.
The Swamp Fane is also here, but has managed to prevent being re-shackled so far.

History

Berez had the misfortune of hosting the first of Tatyana Federovna's reincarnations and Strahd's shocked wrath at her loss lead to him destroying the town. In the aftermath, the witch known as Baba Lysaga claimed the area, much to the old burgomaster's displeasure.
