Undead

A rampant problem across the demiplane, the undead are everywhere here. Many darklords are undead or at least have an army or two of them, with Darkon's entire police force and military being undead. All things considered, the dead do not rest in peace inside the Demiplane of Dread. Ever.

Transmission & Vectors

Many and varied. The most basic are often raised by necromancers as minions, but the really powerful result from old spells and bad deals or via "disease" like Vampirism.

Causes

Since the beginning of time, people have tried to bring back the dead. Now a decent cleric can do it, but before the gods stepped in some shady guys realized that corpses made wonderful underlings and death couldn't touch those with one foot on each side of the veil.

Symptoms

The undead will usually appear like a corpse, with cold, clammy skin, slightly decaying bodies, and (for the walking hordes) little working brain matter.
