Castle Avernus

The infamous castle sitting at the northern edge of the Forest of Shadows has a scattering of stories surrounding it. Those living nearby claim the increased number of undead around it are to keep people in and cite strange noises and screaming in the night to back up claims of experiments and torture upon criminals caught by the Kargat. They aren't far off either; in pursuit of escape Azalin Rex has many different experiments happening all the time. His most recent one is a way of keeping people alive when their bodies and heads are separated, according to some disturbing rumors.
Those "living" inside the castle are aware that the castle itself holds a massive library, containing the memories taken by the Book of Names as well as the artifact itself.
