Zol-Tero
It is often called The Swamp, and this is unfortunately an accurate moniker. Zol-Tero is largely a swamp, full of muck and dirt and generally difficult to live in. The country’s colors are a black snake on a green background.
In spite of the unfortunate nature of its current leader, and the fact that it is considered the second-worst vacation site in the whole Overlord world, the people here are usually quite nice. They are genuine and sincere and would give their last loaf of bread to a stranger. There are exceptions of course, but on the whole the people are kind. They also undergo quite frequent regime changes, and have gained the reputation of being fickle, at least politically.
The current leader is named Bregner. He was born and raised in Yng-tox, but he took an internship in Zol-Tero. I can say what I like about his personality, but the man himself was cunning enough to get himself placed in charge of a major country by the time he was twenty-seven. And this after being blacklisted and temporarily hunted for treason. Which he did in fact commit.
Bognie, an unfortunate cousin of the Regnomard clan, took up residence here and eventually became a lieutenant of Bregner’s. And by unfortunate, I mean treacherous, and by lieutenant I mean someone who was plotting against his master since day one. Probably before that, even, if I know the boy well enough. Which I should, because he tried to kill me once.
