Peligora
Known in more insulting circles as “The Commune,” Peligora does not do much to dissuade the name. The most common adjective used to describe its people is “creepy.” As someone who has a few friends from this place, I must resist the urge to defend them and remind myself that they do tend towards a somewhat uniform appearance and demeanor.
The very landscape tends to come across as somewhat monotone, in white and black and shades of gray rather than the vivid colors that define most of the other nations. It has no major mountain ranges, nor any large forests or immense lacks. The geographical features are even and placid.
This flat demeanor in no way reflects the country’s history. Violence has stained the land different colors more than once, and their standing military is one of the largest in the world. Not without reason, as they more than others are subject to invasion from the outside since they lack the aggressive natural features of the other countries that act as a deterrent for the more foolish.
Notable leaders include Salonius the Great. The current leader is Salonius the Gray. He is an ineffectual leader who has only remained in power this long because his leadership style suits the country quite well and his advisors are adaptable.
