Norðriey
Norðriey, or Northern Island, is a small, uninhabited island located off the northwestern coast of Skogheim. It is the most northerly island in the region, with the island of Suðriey visible from its southern coast.
The climate on Norðriey is harsh and unforgiving. The island is exposed to the full force of the northern winds, and temperatures can drop well below freezing, even in the summer. The island is also prone to heavy snowfall and frequent storms.
Despite the harsh climate, Norðriey is heavily forested. The island is covered in a dense canopy of spruce, pine, and birch trees, which provide a habitat for a variety of wildlife. The forest floor is covered in a thick layer of moss and ferns, and there are many small streams and ponds scattered throughout.
The fauna of Norðriey is adapted to the cold and harsh conditions. The island is home to a variety of mammals, including bears, wolves, and moose. There are also a number of birds, including eagles, hawks, and owls. The island's waters are home to a variety of fish, including salmon, trout, and cod.
