Grœnnvatn

Grœnnvatn, or Green Lake, is a beautiful and serene body of water located within the Bleikrdýr Skógr forest. The lake is known for its clear, emerald-green waters, which are a stark contrast to the dark and mysterious forests that surround it.   Despite the cold climate of Skogheim, Grœnnvatn remains relatively warm throughout the year, and it never freezes over, even in the dead of winter. This is due to a geothermal heat source beneath the lake, which helps to keep the water temperature warm.   The flora and fauna around Grœnnvatn are diverse and abundant. The lake is home to a variety of fish, including trout, pike, and perch. The surrounding forests are also rich in wildlife, with deer, bears, and wolves being common sightings. The lake's clear waters provide a habitat for a variety of aquatic plants, including water lilies and reeds.
