Eyreykr

Eyreykr, or Island of Smoke, is a small, volcanic island located in the center of Varmrlogr Vík. The island is dominated by an active volcano, which periodically erupts and releases ash and lava into the surrounding area. The volcano's peak is covered in snow year-round, creating a stark contrast with the warm waters of the bay.
The island's forests have been burned down several times over the years due to lava flows from the volcano. However, the resilient trees have always managed to grow back, creating a patchwork of new and old growth forest. The forest is home to a variety of wildlife, including rodents and birds. Fire and ice elementals are also known to inhabit the island, drawn to the volcano's heat and the island's icy peaks.
The island is uninhabited due to the constant threat of volcanic activity.
