The Sacala Desert lies between Octiragrin and the @Sou on the continent of Octiria. There are a number of settlements throughout the desert which are connected by the Fire Silk Road.
Geography
The desert is mostly flat with some sand dunes, plateaus, wadis, and higher elevations toward the south. It is bounded by the temporate zone of Octiragrin to the north, oceans on the east and west, and mountains and rainforest in the south.

Moisture in the air can create mirages that may lead travelers astray.

There are several plants and animals native to the desert. Some of them include Sand Dragons, Jinth, other lizards, birds, spiders, scorpions, cacti, palm trees, and others.

Mainly the only people who visit the desert are traders in caravans and the nomadic peoples. The largest city, Tranquil Haven, has theraputic pools where many people come.
