Astroine (Astro-een)

The Astroine are thought to have been an ancient religious order who worshipped the stars. There are step pyramids dotting the Sacala Desert and South Sacala Rainforest. At the tip of each pyramid there is a Crystal Plinth. No one knows exactly what they were meant to do. Etched into the stone of the pyramids are lines of runic symbols and pictures depicting star charts. The runes have not yet been deciphered though the language is known as Astronish after the Astroine order.

Culture

They are thought to be nomadic and scholarly. Their main interest and devotion was of the cosmos.

The Astroine have passed beyond memory. It is uncertain how long ago they walked Octisafell, but weathering of their pyramids suggest it was thousands of years ago.
