Xauna
The sweetest girl and the best damn chef in Bloomwilt.Xauna is a Nightmare that works in The Smiling Rock in Bloomwilt as it's chef and 'atmosphere specialist'. Xauna is a nightmare made of shadow and darkness with grey and difficult to see features on her face, resulting in one needing to look VERY closely to gauge a facial reaction from her. Xauna was born in Bloomwilt after her mother was consumed by a creature from The Nocta Mori and she was birthed from the shadow of her loss. Luckily, Xauna was then taken in by the owner of the Smiling Rock, Nashien Calcus as a baby and raised by him. She grew up unnaturally fast and became the chef of the smiling rock at the age of 5. A couple of years later, she gained access to the abilities of the Nocta Mori, shadow magic that Nashien encouraged her to practise and understand... seeing her shutting her abilities away as shutting a part of Xauna away. Due to this, Calcus has given Sabria Lilk a mage belonging to the Peridot Magus Arcanum to help train her whilst in return researching the unnatural being that is Xauna. In order to continue to practice, the Smiling Rock has a training ground built into it for Xauna to use to practise and she uses her magic to encourage the 'atmosphere' of the smiling rock with illusions linked to the time in the day on the ceiling and across the furniture. When the party revisited Bloomwilt, they learned that Xauna had left the town in The Migration of Bloomwilt and was seen as the primary suspect in the murder of Artur Coric with a 1,500gp bounty for her return signed for by Emerald Quick-Wick and Kindness
